How to add a trailer to Omnitracs XRS
Administrators may add trailers to Omnitracs XRS with defining information such as ID number, trailer type, and home location.Procedure
- From the Admin menu, select Trailers. The Manage Trailers window opens.
- Select the Add Trailer button in the upper right corner of the window to open the Add Trailer window.

- Complete the fields in the General Information, Trailer Groups, and Advanced tabs. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

See attached Trailer Field Definitions pdf document for descriptions of each field and what information to enter into each one.
- When you are done filling out the fields, select Save. You return to the Manage Trailers window and can review the new trailer.
If any required fields are left blank or contain invalid values, a message appears instructing you to correct all fields marked in red.

Make any corrections necessary and select Save again.
