How to Add Vehicles


Use the Add Vehicle feature to add a vehicle to the profile data. Your company's vehicles must be entered into your Omnitracs XRS inventory. In this process, you are going to add a vehicle to your Omnitracs XRS organization.

Procedure

  1. From the Admin menu, select Vehicles.



  1. The Manage Vehicles window opens.


  1. Select Add Vehicle.



  1. The Add Vehicle window opens.



  1. Enter vehicle information in the fields. The following fields are required:
    1. Vehicle Name
    2. Relay Type --> Relay 
    3. TGT Number (TGT number can be found on the XRS relay )
    4. License Plate
    5. VIN Number 
To Activate Sleeper Berth, Click Advanced on the left hand side menu and switch the option to yes for has sleeper 
  1. Select the Save button to save the information and return to the Manage Vehicles window. The new vehicle is added to the list.
