How to edit a driver in Omnitracs XRS

The Edit Driver window allows you to update information about a driver.

Procedure

To edit a driver:

  1. From the Admin menu, select Drivers. The Manage Drivers window opens.
  2. From the Actions column, select the pencil icon next to the driver you want to edit .
  3. Select the tab that includes the fields you need to edit. See attached Driver Field Definitions for more details.


     
  4. Make changes to the fields as needed.
  1. For General Information: Make changes as necessary and select Save.
  2. For Driver Groups: Choose the Select button to see the available Resource Groups.
  3. For Advanced: Make changes as necessary and select Save.
If any fields are invalid, a message appears instructing you to correct all fields marked in red. Correct all invalid fields and select Save.
