How to edit a trailer in Omnitracs XRS

Admin users are able to select a Trailer and edit its settings in the Manage Trailers window. The Edit Trailer window displays the same fields as the Add Trailer window, pre-populated with the current Trailer information.

Procedure
  1. From the Admin menu, select Trailers. The Manage Trailers window opens.


     
  2. From the Actions column, select the Edit icon next to the trailer you need to edit.
  3. Select the General InformationTrailer Groups, or Advanced tab.


     
  4. Make changes to the fields as needed.
    • For General Information: Make changes as necessary.
    • For Trailer Groups: Click the Select button to display the Resource Groups
    • For Advanced: Make changes as necessary.
  5. Select Save to return to the Manage Drivers window and review the edited information.

  1. If any required fields are left blank or contain invalid values, a message appears instructing you to correct all fields marked in red. Make the necessary corrections and select Save again.
