How to export driver data from Omnitracs XRS
From the Manage Drivers window you can export driver attributes into a .csv file. You can choose to export only the data that is currently displayed, omitting filtered data and the data in hidden columns, or you can export the data in all columns, including those that are currently hidden.
Exporting the Current Display
When you select the Export button, only the data that is currently displayed is included in your export file. Data in hidden columns is not included. If you have applied filters to the data, only the filtered data will be included in the resulting spreadsheet.
See the attached Drivers page for more information about applying filters and hiding and showing columns.
To export only the data that is currently displayed:
- Filter the data as necessary. You can filter by Organization, Status, and Resource Group.
- Select Export.
- Retrieve your file.
- If you use Internet Explorer, a dialog box appears at the bottom of your browser window asking if you want to open or save your file. Select Open to open the exported file.
- If you use Mozilla Firefox, a dialog box appears, asking if you want to open or save your file. Select Open with or Save file, then select OK to save the exported file.
- If you use Google Chrome, a Save As window opens, prompting you to save the file. When you select Save, a .CSV dialog box appears at the bottom of your browser window. Select it to open your file and save it according to your preferences.
Exporting All Driver Data
To export all driver data, select Export Details and refer to the instructions in step 3 above. The resulting export file will include data from all columns, including those that are hidden.
