How to move a vehicle in Omnitracs XRS

Select Move Vehicle when you want to move a vehicle to another organization. All historical data associated with the vehicle will also be moved.

Procedure

To move a vehicle:

1. From the Admin menu, select Vehicles. The Manage Vehicles window opens.
2. From the Actions column, select the Move icon   adjacent to the vehicle you want to move. The Select Organization window opens.
   
   
    
3. Choose the vehicle's new organization.
4. Select Save. A message opens that says, "Historical records will be moved to the new organization.  Are you sure you want to move vehicle [vehicle name]?"
   
   
    
5. Select OK. A Move Vehicle validation message appears that says, “Vehicle [vehicle name] successfully moved.” 
   
   
    
6. Select OK.
7. View the vehicle on the Manage Vehicles window.
