How to move a driver in Omnitracs XRS

Select Move Driver when you need to move a driver to another organization. All historical data associated with the driver will also be moved.

Procedure
To move a driver:
  1. From the Admin menu, select Drivers. The Manage Drivers window opens.
  2. From the Actions column, select the Move icon next to the driver you want to move .
  3. Select the organization to which the driver will be moved and then select OK.



    After selecting the organization, the Move Driver dialog box opens, reminding you that historical records will be moved to the new organization and asking if you are sure you want to move the driver.


     
  4. Select OK. Another message appears, telling you that the driver has been successfully moved to the new organization.


     
  5. Select OK to return to the Manage Drivers window. 
  6. View the driver with the new organization assignment.
