Trailers in Omnitracs XRS
In the Manage Trailers window, admin users can view and manage Trailers. The window provides a paginated grid view of all Trailers associated with the user’s assigned organization.
From this window a user is able to:
Navigating the Manage Trailers Window
Filtering Results
You can filter results by Organization, Status, Resource Group, or Trailer Type.
To filter results:
- Choose which filter to search by.
- Select the check boxes or radio options next to the criteria you would like to view.
- Select Save.
To remove all filters, select the Reset icon .
Searching Results
To search the list:
- Select the Search icon.
- Enter a search term in the Find field.
- Select the field by which you want to search (Trailer ID or License Plate) from the drop-down list.
- Press Enter on your keyboard to search.
Exporting Results
To export results:
- Select Export. You are prompted to either open or save the exported file.
- Choose to either open the file in Microsoft Excel or save it to your local hard drive. A .csv file containing the device information is created.
If an Export Failed message appears:
- Select OK.
- Re-enter your search criteria and press Enter.
- Select Export.
Importing Data
To import data, select Import. See attached Importing Records into Omnitracs XRS for more information.
Displaying and Sorting Results
You can hide or show columns by holding your mouse over the right corner of any column heading and selecting the drop-down arrow that appears. Select or deselect specific columns to show or hide them in the window.
You can also sort the results based on any column in the window by selecting the column heading. For instance, if you want to sort the data according to the last time an inspection was performed, select the Last Inspection column heading.
